Phil Neville has opened up about his relationship with Roy Keane at Manchester United and revealed how Roy and his brother Gary would often feud with each other in the dressing room.
Neville came through the Manchester United academy system under Sir Alex Ferguson following in the footsteps of his older brother, Gary.
His United career did not end up being quite as successful as Gary's but the former England international still made 386 appearances for the Reds before moving to Everton where he ended his career in 2013.
In total Phil spent a decade in United's first-team squad and shared the dressing room with some of the best players in the history of the club.
Speaking on Jamie Carragher's The Greatest Game podcast, Neville was quizzed about his time at the club and his relationship with United legend Roy Keane.
“Do you know what? I think he had a soft spot for me,” Neville said.
“He actually turned up to my wedding – and he would never turn up to anyone else’s wedding. He turned up to mine and had a good time. And his kids went to school with my kids.
“Every time I see him now I think, ‘He has a little bit of a soft spot for me.”
Neville, who is currently in charge of David Beckham owned MLS outfit Inter Miami, went on to aim a quip at his brother.
“I think because he hated Gary so much – he used to fight with Gary every day – he saw me as the nice one.”
Both were notoriously strong characters in the dressing room so it's unsurprising that the two figures would clash from time to time.
They seem to be on amicable terms these days, with both of them working together as pundits for Sky Sports.
