Phil Mickelson’s sister Tina shared a nervous text exchange with their mom during historic PGA Championship win

Just about every golf fan was nervous about Phil Mickelson during the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship he’d end up winning.

That apparently included those among his biggest fans: his mom and his siblings.

Mickelson’s sister Tina shared a really funny exchange between herself and their mom that proved just how nervous they all were on Sunday.

“Tina, [text] Philip and tell him just to par in,” Mickelson’s mom’s text read. “Don’t hit bombs or activate calves. Just par. They will have to catch him. He won’t listen to his mother do you [text] him. Hurry.”

Tina responded she’d text their brother Tim, who happened to be caddying for Phil:

Love that reference to his calves.
