Phil Mickelson hits bombs on the baseball field while promoting Women’s PGA Championship

Lefty’s back to hitting bombs, just not on the golf course.

Phil Mickelson talked about hitting bombs – while taking a shot at friend Matt Kuchar – in a video that went viral on Masters’ Saturday while driving up Magnolia Lane, and he was crushing baseballs on Monday night in Minneapolis.

Helping to promote next month’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with the LPGA’s Stacy Lewis, Mickelson got in some batting practice while “recreating famous Twins hits through the years!” while Minnesota is on the road in Toronto for a series with the Blue Jays.

Oh, and going yard, apparently.

While we can’t tell if Mickelson hit that one out of the park, it’s clear Lefty has some game on the diamond.

Mickelson missed the cut at last weekend’s PGA Tour stop in Charlotte at Quail Hollow for the Wells Fargo Championship, but will be back in two weeks at Bethpage Black for the PGA Championship.
