Gazza has revived his Euro 96 hairdo after Phil Foden recreated the famous look.
Foden proudly revealed his recreation of the look on Tuesday on Instagram with a caption: “Euro 96 vibe”.
Fans immediately drew comparisons of the two but Gazza, 54, urged the Manchester City player to follow in his footsteps on the pitch.
The 54-year-old said Foden, 21, should recreate his ‘dentist’s chair’ celebration if he scores in this year’s Euros, the Mirror reports.
Gazza said: “I love to watch him play – we have so many exciting youngsters coming through.
“If Phil Foden scores, he should do the dentist’s chair – and I will pour the cocktail down his throat.
“I think that goal was my greatest in an England shirt, and the celebration made it the greatest moment.
“So tell Phil Foden I will take him on one on one in my back garden."

Gazza famously scored with a volley after flicking the ball over defender Colin Hendry to all but condemn the Scots to an early exit.
He then cemented his legendary status by lying down on the pitch while teammates fired jets of water down his throat.
Foden mentioned celebrity barber Sheldon Edwards, also known as HD Cutz, in his post and is believed to have styled the look on him.
Foden said: “I remember watching highlights on the TV of Gazza – an unbelievable player.
“The full nation knows what he did, so it won’t be too bad if I try to bring a bit of Gazza on to the pitch.
He added: “I don’t think you can listen too much to what people are saying. I have to try and keep my feet on the ground and just being me.”
Gazza also said he believes the new squad can recreate the spirit of Euro 96.
He said: "I have to say that the kids are really good.
“I am still patriotic. This is a really good England side, and I am looking forward to the games.”
