Phil and Holly struggled to contain their disgust as they tried kiwi pizza live on air during today's episode of This Morning.
The pair grimaced as they took a bite out of the latest viral pizza combination - which some people are calling an "abomination".
Phil described the concoction as "dirty" and Holly even labelled it as "shameful" while pushing the plate aside after trying a slice and covering it with a napkin.
It comes after a picture of a large cheese and tomato pizza slathered with slices of kiwi fruit became a hot topic online after it was shared on Reddit.
The picture has since attracted hundreds of comments as the culinary invention left foodies around the world shocked, disgusted or simply "feeling sick".
However, not everyone has expressed dislike for the controversial topping. Some people have commented on the picture saying they wouldn't mind giving it a go and that they would probably like it.
Prompted by this, it seems Phil and Holly decided to try the sweet and savoury combination out for themselves to see how it would fare with them.
Holly, who admitted earlier on the show that she is not a fan of pineapple on pizza, saying "I just don't get it", was already seemingly dreading trying the pizza before it was even revealed.
"I mean, that just doesn't look appealing, does it?" she said, straight after Phil removed the cloche.
"You eat with your eyes a bit as well, don't you, and that doesn't look like something I'd wanna try," she continued.
While digging into a slice, the duo were instantly put off - so much so, a piece was left stuck on Holly's lipgloss.
"Even my mouth didn't want it!" she quipped.
Shaking his head, Phil told viewers: "That's horrid, and it's sour, and the seeds crunch."
"Guys, don't do this," his co-host added.
Angered by the taste left in his mouth, Phil finished by saying: "dirty, dirty pizza!"
