This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby tried not to giggle as guest Amethyst explained why she had called off her marriage to a ghost.
Heartbroken Amethyst explained her ghoulish groom Ray had "fallen in with a bad crowd" during their holiday to Thailand.
She said he began partying, taking drugs, and vanishing for days on end, and she could no longer stand it.
Amethyst, who says she has had sex with Ray, called off the wedding and did a sage cleanse so Ray could not return.
She also said ghosts must adhere to social distancing too, because they can get ill from COVID-19 even if they cannot die from it.
Amethyst said she and Ray communicated through "an energy" to arrange sex in the plane toilet on their way back.
Amethyst said: "I think he started doing drugs and partying a bit much, we should be away for days at a time and then there would be crashing and banging and strange noises."
Phil asked: "How is that possible, how does a ghost do drugs? Is he partying in the spirit world or in the real world?"
Amethyst replied: "I think both judging by how he would disappear for a while and then turn up at mine."
She said other ghostly presence bothered her, leaving strange smells and moving things, and she knew it was Ray's inappropriate friends.
"I tried to talk to him, I gave him one chance after another, and he just didn't change," she explained.
"So eventually I ended up placing black tourmaline around the house which keeps spirits away, I did a sage cleansing incantations, I had to get rid of him as you would any other spirits."
Holly asked if she missed Ray and she admitted she did.
"His family have been in touch and they are sad about the way he is behaving," she added.
The screen then froze and Amethyst was cut off, leaving terrified Phil and Holly to speculate if Ray had caused it.
The hosts then jumped as a mysterious noise that terrified them, but they soon realised it was Alison Hammond knowing over a pot accidentally.
"I'm so sorry I don't know how big I am!" said Alison.
