This event debuted back in 2024, but it's back with some fresh features and maps this time. If you're eager to start exploring, you'll likely want to know when you can actually start ghost hunting. Here’s the exact time and date when the Winter's Jest 2025 event will begin in Phasmophobia.

When is the 2025 winter holiday event in Phasmophobia?
The 2025 installment of the Winter's Jest event officially begins on Dec. 16 in Phasmophobia. According to the official event blog, it will officially begin at 6am CT, which is the same time all recent updates and events have launched.
We've set our countdown to this precise time, but will update it if any unexpected delays or changes occur. You can check back here leading up to the start of the event if you're curious how much longer is left before you can face Krampus.

When does Winter's Jest 2025 end in Phasmophobia?
The Winter's Jest holiday event runs from Dec. 16, 2025 to Jan. 6, 2026. This gives you three full weeks to tackle everything it has to offer and claim all available prizes before Krampus leaves and the festivities end.
If you don't manage to get everything done, you can always continue working on it later, as this event is annual and will return in 2026. The trophy is upgradeable and not meant to be completed in one go, so you can likely expect to continue working on it next time.
Phasmophobia Winter's Jest 2025 event features
The 2025 run of the Winter's Jest event is a rerun, so most features are the same as they were back in 2024. This event brings Krampus to the game, a special, eerie goat-like version of the ghost model that haunts all maps featured in the event.
Krampus has some special jack-in-the-boxes hidden around certain maps in this event. You must find and interact with them to make progress. There are 10 maps featured in the event this year, with a rotating schedule selecting only a few from this pool to be active each day. The locations you can visit are Nell's Diner, Grafton Farmhouse, Bleasdale Farmhouse, Point Hope, 10 Ridgeview Court, 6 Tanglewood Drive, 13 Willow Street, 42 Edgefield Road, Maple Lodge Campsite, and Camp Woodwind.
For tackling the tough trials available in this event, you can earn an upgradable trophy, plus a Toy Soldier ID card and badge set. If you've already collected everything this event has to offer, there's also the new Naughty or Nice? challenge to look forward to, which offers players a chance to earn rewards and surprises that were available in previous festive events.
There's a lot to look forward to, but still a bit of a wait before the festivities officially begin. If you're looking for something to do in the meantime, you might consider working on the weekly challenge, braving Blood Moon weather, completing Farmhouse Fieldwork, and unlocking all hidden achievements.
