Since Phasmophobia is still in an early access state, it receives massive updates every few months, bringing loads of new content and overhauls to the ghost hunting game. If you're eager to know what's coming next, reviewing the roadmap is a great place to start.
Phasmophobia has already had quite a lot of exciting new content in the first half of the year, but there's still a lot to look forward to. Here's the late 2025 roadmap for Phasmophobia with everything else we can expect to see released before the year ends.

Phasmophobia roadmap
There are two major updates left to launch in 2025, according to the official roadmap and a few different dev blog posts. These are the Nell's Diner update and the player character overhaul update.
Nell's Diner update
The Nell's Diner update will add a new small map, similar in size to 13 Willow Street, to the game. As the name hints, a small American diner is the location featured in this update. It has 13 rooms, with 11 of them functioning as possible locations the ghost may select as their favorite room.
The 20th dev blog provides a sneak peek at quite a few areas featured around this map, including a parking lot with a police car, a back exit and dumpster area, a kitchen, some bathrooms, an office, and the main dining area.
Nell's Diner will also feature "environmental storytelling," which is set up to tell the story of"something awful" that has taken place at this location, leaving it very suddenly abandoned with fresh food still sitting out. This seems like it could be the start of building the official game lore we may eventually see in the upcoming Phasmophobia movie.
Player character overhaul update
The player character overhaul update will completely rework the model you play as while also adding plenty of new customization options. It's confirmed to feature the ability to fully dress your character, with player cosmetics already being confirmed for future Phasmophobia Twitch drops, but it's unclear whether we'll get to change key details like hair or eye color, too.
According to the 2025 roadmap blog, this update will be focused on "refreshing character models, improving animations, and adjusting the overall experience when it comes to your Phasmophobia character."
Other possible updates
Only the Nell's Diner update and the player character overhaul update are confirmed to launch before the end of 2025 so far, but it's always possible we see some surprise updates. There's a good chance we might see one or two more, since we can expect to see the annual fall and winter special events return in October and December.

There's no official date or concrete information about when the next update will arrive for Phasmophobia. All we know is that there are two more planned to be released sometime before 2025 ends. When any new information is revealed, we'll update all relevant details here.
