We've already seen some of that with changes to its Easter event, the Cursed Hollow, which added auto-claim for rewards, more personal goodies, and a map rotation.

When is the Phasmophobia Christmas event?
Phasmophobia began its annual holiday event, Winter's Jest, on December 16. Players will have until January 6 to unlock seasonal prizes like the Toy Soldier ID Card, Winter's Jest Trophy, and their upgraded versions.
The Phasmophobia event gives 10 of its haunted maps a wintery makeover, each home to a naughty or nice list penned by Krampus. Find the gifts on the list and drop them in the bag to help complete the community challenge with an extra incentive to help out early this year. Krampus is giving out double XP and money from investigations completed in the event's first week.
When is the next Phasmophobia update?
The next major Phasmophobia update should be the Player Character Overhaul. Its holiday event, Winter's Jest, is live through the beginning of 2026. There's also a Tanglewood rework on the way, along with a few smaller fixes and adjustments leading into 1.0.
