Phasmophobia events and updates for 2026: Easter, Halloween, and holiday haunts

The Phasmophobia 2026 roadmap is lookin' pretty busy as the game plans for its big 1.0 launch sometime this year. Its usual festive staples are there, so you'll have the Easter, Halloween, and winter holiday events to celebrate with the paranormal, but there's also a new limited-time event on the schedule, and we still don't have the who, what, when, or where on that one.

Between the four events, there's a handful of updates planned outside of Phasmophobia 1.0's launch, like the Player Customization Overhaul, new map, and more haunted house reworks. To keep up with the year's ~~haunting~~ event schedule, we're always watching and waiting—hoping for a sign from the Blood Moon cult—and plan to record any release date evidence or speculation below.

When is the next Phasmophobia seasonal event?

When is Phasmophobia's Cursed Hollow event?

There's no confirmed date just yet, though Phasmophobia typically begins its Easter-themed event, Cursed Hollow, sometime in late March or April. Since 2026 is another year where Easter is rather early (April 5), I'd say it's safe to assume this Cursed Hollow will begin earlier than last, but that's just speculation.

This is also assuming the new limited-time event mentioned in the Phasmophobia roadmap doesn't surprise between now and April. It's a bit of a wild card for the year, and your guess is as good as mine on where Kinetic will squeeze it in.

When is the next Phasmophobia update?

The next major Phasmophobia update should be the Player Character Overhaul and 6 Tanglewood Drive update sometime soon. After the rework for player models and customization was delayed last year, Kinetic announced it would launch alongside Tanglewood's new look in Q1 2026.

Phasmophobia follows a fairly regular schedule of events, but specific yearly dates don't always line up the same. We'll keep the usual holiday events, plus any extra festivities like Phasmophobia Twitch Drops or updates, outlined below.

Previous Phasmophobia seasonal events

Phasmophobia's reworked event structure makes it so you can carry over progress from year to year, but there are still a few retired trophy cabinet mementos you can't revisit.
