The overall layout of this location has remained the same since Phasmophobia first launched, but with the March 3, 2026 rework, it received a bit of a touch-up with some new features to add fresh furniture, interactions, and small layout tweaks. The overall goal of this redesign was to make this location feel more unique and detailed.
If you knew the map before the rework, you'll still have a fairly easy time getting around. If you didn't, it's a great beginner-friendly location to start off at. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's a lot to learn about this home, so here's a full breakdown of what you need to know about it.

Almost all of the rooms you can explore around 6 Tanglewood Drive are found on the main floor, with the exception of the single, open room down in the basement. In total, there are 12 rooms to investigate, making this one of the smallest locations available to you.
- There are two bedrooms, including the children's bedroom near the front of the house and the master bedroom close to the living room.
- This home has two bathrooms, one of which can be found in the hallway near the entrance, and the other, which is attached to the master bedroom.
- The front corner room used to be a bedroom, but was transformed into a crafts and hobby room in the rework.
- The main hallway, living room, dining room, and kitchen are all attached with an open floor plan.

The fuse box has two possible spawn locations around 6 Tanglewood Drive:
- In the garage. When it appears here, you'll find it on the wall to your right upon entering the room.
- In the basement. When it appears down here, you can find it on the wall directly in front of you when you reach the bottom of the stairs.
In some contracts, the location of the fuse box will be marked on the map in the truck with a green lightning bolt symbol. Others, though, hide this symbol from you to make it more challenging, so knowing where to check for it makes these tricky trials easier.

We've uncovered three Easter eggs and secrets around the 6 Tanglewood Drive map. Based on our exploration, there doesn't seem to be any large puzzle to solve like the ones present at Point Hope and Nell's Diner. We're still on the hunt for more, though, as they're oftentimes rather hidden, so if any additional ones are uncovered, they'll be added here.
- A potato with a face can be found in the kitchen. This Easter egg is a reference to the well-known Phasmophobia content creator PsychoHypnotic, who has previously used a potato face filter when streaming.
- A train set can be found in the basement. There are buttons near the end of it that can be interacted with to turn it on and otherwise control different parts of this set.
- The cross hanging up on the wall over the table in the side hallway, just off the main one, and the cross in the master bedroom can be turned upside down by the ghost.
