A West Lothian pharmacy has been nominated for a prestigious retail award.
Right Medicine Pharmacy in Winchburgh are nominated for Pharmacy of the Year at The Scottish Independent Retail Awards.
They won the award this year and are hoping that they can win for the second year in a row at this year’s ceremony in Glasgow on April 1.
The awards acknowledge the contributions of the country’s independent retailers to the overall economy as well as the diversity that is present in the sector.
Right Medicine Pharmacy’s nomination came from within their own community. The starting point is a customer putting them forward for an award and then they are judged on things like customer testimonials.
The company’s chief operating officer Richard Stephenson said: “The appreciation from our community means a lot to us. We have invested heavily in the future of Winchburgh so it is just good for us to be recognised by the community.”
The ceremony will mark the 10th anniversary of the awards and will take place on Wednesday April 1 at Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel.
