PGA Tour pro gets incredibly lucky bounce out of the grandstands

Brian Harman enters the weekend at the Charles Schwab Challenge in a tie for 22nd place, and he finished off his second round on Friday by averting disaster and making an unthinkable birdie at the ninth hole. Harman hit a 139-yard approach shot out of the rough over the green and into the seats – but ended up with a tap-in two-footer for birdie. Harman’s ball ricocheted back into the greenside rough – missing the bunker by a few feet – and released perfectly through the fringe toward the hole.

After making his putt, Harman tossed the ball back into the stands.

Jonas Blixt (-9) leads the field by a shot after posting a 64 on Friday, with Kevin Na and Tony Finau at 8-under par.
