Season 3 of PGA Tour 2K25 is underway with a focus on the FedExCup Playoffs. Events are centered around the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind and the Tour Championship at East Lake, bringing new quests, Ranked Tours and a leaderboard reset with updated rewards.
This season runs alongside the real PGA Tour schedule, letting players experience the intensity of the playoffs in-game. The PGA Tour Superstore is adding new apparel and equipment from brands like Adidas, Callaway, Hugo Boss, Jordan, Puma, TaylorMade and more. Wear and Earn events return, offering bonus VC and boosts for equipping featured gear. There’s also a back-to-school theme tied into some of the Ranked rewards.
The spotlight this season is on the Magician archetype, built for players who thrive in tough situations and rely on recovery shots. Max Homa and Chris McDonald represent this playstyle and creating a MyPLAYER with this archetype unlocks unique seasonal quests. Once that player reaches 85 OVR, the new Recovery shot becomes available, helping deal with tricky lies more effectively.
Challenges mode continues with new themed maps set to arrive as the season progresses. Equipment progression has also been expanded with the Diamond Tier now available to further improve club performance. Locker Code Tuesdays will also be making their debut. Each week, new codes will appear on PGA Tour 2K’s social channels and in-game, available for 24 hours and offering players another way to earn rewards for their MyPLAYER.
The Clubhouse Pass for Season 3 includes both free and premium items. Free rewards feature a Hugo Boss zip-up, a Wilson Staff wedge, the Magician’s top hat and the new Lob Shot, which offers more control around the green than a pitch and more forgiveness than a spinner. Upgrading to the premium track unlocks additional gear like the Original Penguin long sleeve, a Bad Birdie snapback and a Diamond-tier Wilson DYNAPWR iron.
The Member’s Pass gives access to premium content across all five seasons, plus a themed outfit for each one. Players can move through each Clubhouse Pass at their own pace, with premium items still unlockable even after newer seasons are released.
Alongside the launch of PGA Tour 2K25 Season 3, the team released patch 8.06. The update includes fixes across MyCAREER, Quests, Challenges, Course Designer and other areas of the game. Check out the full patch notes below.
