When it comes to offensive firepower in the NFL, it doesn’t get much better than the combination of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
Brady and Gronkowski were the most dominant duo in the league since 2006, according to Pro Football Focus. The closest combination behind them was Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson — and that’s great company to be with.
The two combined for 516 receptions, 7,786 receiving yards and 78 touchdowns with the New England Patriots. They had the No. 1 ranked passer rating among quarterback-to-receiver duos with at least 200 attempts — at 129.6.
Brady will have to figure out how to run New Englands offense without one of the greatest tight ends to ever play. Fortunately for the Patriots, they were able to collect three Super Bowl rings with Gronkowski on the team.
