The Washington Redskins running back depth chart is deep, but it will all be worthless if there is nobody to open holes for them up front.
Luckily, the Redskins offensive line is projected to rank in the top half of the league, despite some question marks heading into the 2019 season.
Coming in at No. 14 in the league leaves something to be desired, but it could be a lot worse. The absence of veteran LT Trent Williams through out Minicamp and OTAs was a bit unsettling, but those close to the team seem to think that he will be back in time for the season to begin.
However, if Williams is to continue his holdout, and the Redskins are left trying to fill his spot with say, Ereck Flowers, there is a small likelihood that Washington will find themselves in the top half of offensive rankings come seasons end.
There are still some valuable pieces up front, but most of the predictions are based on a roster that is at full strength, and if Williams isn’t in there, cracking the top 20 would be a long shot for this Redskins roster.
