PFF: Raiders LG Denzelle Good has career game in Week 8 vs. Browns

Over the last few days, we have heard from Jon Gruden and company as they have praised Denzelle Good for his performance this season. With multiple injuries on the offensive line, we have now seen him play multiple spots and play well beyond expectations.

However, his best game of the season came in Week 8 as the Raiders rode their offensive line to victory in Cleveland. Good got the start at left guard once again with Richie Incognito out and he didn’t disappoint.

According to Pro Football Focus, Good had a career-day against the Browns, finishing Week 9 with a grade of 90. He didn’t allow a pressure in the passing game.  and was absolutely dominant in the run game.

Earlier this week, Gruden called him the “unsung hero” on the team as he has filled in admirably for Incognito. He’s graded out as one of the team’s best offensive linemen despite the limited experience, according to Pro Football Focus.

With Incognito not expected to return to the starting lineup anytime soon, Good will likely stay at left guard for the foreseeable future. Before the season, that would have sounded like a potential disaster. But after seven games, he’s one of the few offensive linemen the team doesn’t have to stress about.

Pardon the pun, but things appear to be good on the offensive line for the Raiders with Denzelle in the lineup.
