PFF projects Frank Clark as No. 4 most expensive 2019 free agent

Pro Football Focus released their predictions for the 10 free agents who will earn the biggest contracts this offseason, and Seattle Seahawks edge rusher Frank Clark came in at No. 4.

PFF believes that Clark, if he heads to the open market, would command a contract of roughly five years and $87.5 million, with $53.5 million guaranteed.

They also say that while Seattle has historically been very proactive about signing players to contract extensions, this could be a situation where Seattle decides to franchise-tag Clark, keeping him around for another year while they evaluate his future.

Ahead of Clark in the PFF projections were three other defensive linemen: the Texans’ Jadeveon Clowney, the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Lawrence and the Chiefs’ Dee Ford.

Clark capped off a career year last year in Seattle, racking up 13 sacks and earning a 74.7 grade as a pass rusher.
