PFF projects Cardinals to land C Matt Paradis in free agency

The Arizona Cardinals will seek to upgrade the offensive line in the offseason. One of the top offensive linemen to hit the market is Denver Broncos center Matt Paradis.

Pro Football Focus predicts he will land with the Cardinals.

With as far away as the Cardinals’ roster is at the moment, being major players in free agency doesn’t make a ton of sense. That being said, they need immediate contributors on what was our lowest-graded offensive line from a season ago to simply keep Josh Rosen healthy.

This is interesting for a couple of reasons. One, Paradis is coming off a broken leg that ended his season. This would continue the trend of offensive linemen with injury backgrounds. He is also a center, a position the Cardinals feel pretty solid about with Mason Cole.

Would Paradis be an upgrade? Most likely, and perhaps Cole could move to guard. However, the team has raved about Cole’s consistency and his potential.

Cardinals offensive line coach Sean Kugler coached Paradis last season. It would be a good fit. But with Cole already in place and Paradis coming off an injury, maybe the Cardinals will look elsewhere.
