PFF lists Riley Reiff as ‘cut candidate’ for Vikings

The Vikings need help on the offensive line, which makes it odd that they would end up releasing one of their starters.

However, if the Vikings were to release starting left tackle Riley Reiff, they would save nearly $12 million in cap space.

That’s why Brad Spielberger over at Pro Football Focus listed Reiff as the Vikings’ most-logical cut candidate.

Spielberger also said that tight end Kyle Rudolph could be an option, which we’ve covered a few times.

Reiff has been with the Vikings since 2017 and has only missed six games during that time.

If Reiff were to be cut, Brian O’Neill could make the transition from right to left tackle. Ezra Cleveland could also be an option, or the team could try to target someone in the first-round of the NFL Draft.
