PFA Player of the Year 2019 odds: Who is favourite to be crowned winner?

As the most exciting title race continues to intensify, Liverpool and Manchester City players also find themselves competing for individual honours.

Liverpool's defensive rock Virgil van Dijk is the heavy favourite to be crowned this season's best player in England with the PFA Player of the Year award.

The world's most expensive defender had more than paid back his price tag in a little over 12 months at Anfield and is one of three Liverpool players in the mix, along with Sadio Mane and last year's winner Mohamed Salah.

Premier League title favourites Manchester City have four in contention, the pick of the bunch being Raheem Sterling followed closely by Sergio Aguero. Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho are outside bets.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard enjoyed a blistering start to the season and continues to be the standout performer at Stamford Bridge, but chances of taking the individual prize appear slim.

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is a long shot at 66/1 but could well end the season as the competition's top goalscorer for a third time in four campaigns.
