If fashion is supposed to be a conversation starter, Ciara’s outfit to the Met Gala absolutely did its job.
She wore a football-inspired dress with Russell Wilson’s number on it in Seahawks colors. She also carried a mini-football around with her and wore Wilson’s Super Bowl ring on her hand. The entire outfit was a flex.
So, of course, while Wilson was on the NFL’s Monday Night Football broadcast with Peyton and Eli Manning, they were going to talk about this outfit. I mean, how could they not, right?
And they absolutely did. But, uh, I’m not sure this was the direction the conversation was supposed to go in.

While they were talking about the outfit, Manning said “she’s got a ring that I wanted. I didn’t get it.”
He’s referring to the Wilson’s Super Bowl ring that he beat Manning’s Broncos for. HILARIOUS. What a perfect moment. Wilson joined in on the talk about Super Bowl L’s.
“I have a ring that Tom has that I need to go get, too. But at least Eli stole a couple from him, so we’re good.”
This was perfect. Just perfect. Shoutout to Ciara for giving us this incredible moment.
