Peyton Manning’s nephew looks like a promising high school QB

Arch Manning, the son of Cooper Manning and nephew of Super Bowl champions Peyton and Eli, is a known football prospect despite the fact that he’s yet to even play in a high school game.

In January, a video of Arch working out surfaced on Twitter and quickly went viral. That was just a workout video. Imagine the buzz that will result from the first footage of the young Manning playing varsity football.

Manning made his debut with Isidore Newman High School in Louisiana last week in a “spring game” scrimmage against Shaw High School. He’s still only in eighth grade but that didn’t stop him from throwing three touchdown passes. Check out the highlights, courtesy of Fox 8:

Cooper was a star wide receiver at the same high school and he planned to play with his brother, Peyton, in college. Unfortunately, Cooper was diagnosed with spinal stenosis as a freshman and had to stop playing football.

Cooper’s two brothers — Peyton and Eli — each won two Super Bowls in the NFL, Peyton with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos and Eli with the New York Giants. They are the sons of Archie Manning, who was a talented QB himself despite playing for a bad New Orleans Saints team.

Arch looks like the next member of the Manning family in line to have success as a QB. He could be a hot college prospect in 2021 and potentially an NFL prospect in 2026. It’s probably safe to assume Arch’s highlights will continue to light up social media in the coming years.
