Peyton Manning predicts Broncos will make NFL playoffs in 2024

Peyton Manning still loves his Denver Broncos.

Earlier this season, a ManningCast clip of Manning shouting “Our ball!” when Denver’s defense recovered a fumble against the Buffalo Bills went viral. Manning has not played for the Broncos since 2015, but he still lives in Colorado and he frequently attends the team’s home games.

During the final ManningCast of the 2023 season on Monday night, Manning’s love for his old team was on display again when the former quarterback declared Denver will make the playoffs in 2024.

“Next year the Broncos will be in the playoffs,” Manning said during the Wild Card game featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles on Jan. 15. “I’m calling that right now.”

Manning even went as far as to predict Denver hosting a playoff game. That would mark a big improvement from the team going 8-9 in 2023. It sounds like Manning believes coach Sean Payton has the Broncos trending in the right direction.

Manning, 47, spent the first 14 years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts before playing four years in Denver to close out his career. He won one Super Bowl each with the Colts and Broncos before retiring in 2016.
