Peyton Manning dressed up as Elvis Presley and threw a touchdown bomb

NFL legend Peyton Manning is the star of a new ESPN+ series called “Peyton’s Places,” which will feature the former Colts and Broncos QB visiting influential people and locales in the game of football. ESPN released a preview of the show on YouTube this week, which includes footage of Manning launching a vintage touchdown throw while dressed as an Elvis Presley impersonator.

Presley was famously a football fanatic, and he organized touch football games at Graceland. As Manning explained, Presley even designed his own plays – so the two-time Super Bowl champ decided to dress up as Elvis and run one of his passing plays to perfection.

“Elvis Presley, whatever he was into – music, movies, got into karate… football, he was all in. I mean, he was all in. So he had these plays that he drew up for these touch football games. Not going to lie, pretty good plays. So we went to this old field where he used to play these touch football games. I started out in shorts and a t-shirt, kind of as myself.  I said ‘you know, I just feel like Elvis was more all in than this. I’m not really all in. I’ll be right back.’ Came back in a 70s Elvis suit.”

Even in a jacket and cape, Manning’s still got it.
