Peyton and Eli Manning were flabbergasted after the Giants’ defense flubbed tackles on Noah Fant

After Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith left Monday night’s away game against the New York Giants with injury, New York’s defense let up one of the ugliest plays of the season so far.

On 3rd-and-10, Seahawks backup quarterback Drew Lock hit tight end Noah Fant on a nice completion that somehow turned into a 51-yard explosive play as the Giants defense found no way to tackle Fant as he nearly made it to the end zone.

It was just the epitome of horrible tackling for the Giants, and Peyton Manning couldn’t believe what he was watching on the ManningCast.

Eli Manning couldn’t quite figure out how this bizarre sequence happened to his former team, one that just shows how lackluster this Giants defense has been this season.

At the least, the Mannings trying to figure this disaster out was pretty entertaining.

We have no idea what’s going on with the Giants right now, but we’re at least glad to have the Mannings to walk us through whatever in the world this play was.
