Pets at Home are selling adorable costumes for your dogs just in time for Halloween

It's true, many of us hide in the darkness of our living rooms when trick-or-treaters come knocking - but who could resist dogs dressed up as pumpkins?

If you've already got your outfit planned for Halloween (bin bags and duvet sheets at the ready), it's time to start thinking about your four-legged friend.

Pets at Home have just released a range of costumes for dogs that are frighteningly cute - if you don't believe us, just have have a look for yourself.

Pumpkin dog costume, £7

How about dressing up your pooch as a pumpkin? (Pets at Home)

What could be cuter than a pooch in a pumpkin? As if the bodysuit wasn't enough, it comes with a little hat, too. This outfit is a full foolproof way to get extra sweeties (and treats) in the kids' cauldron.

Bumble bee dog costume,£9

This bumble bee costume comes complete with wings and 3D antenna (Pets at Home)

Or maybe a bumble bee dog costume will get you buzzing for Halloween? With those antenna and wings, your dog is bound to steal the show.

Witches dog hat, £3

If you're going for Harry Potter vibes, then this hat could work. (Pets at Home)

Harry Potter fans dressing up as one of their favourite characters can get the dog involved in the theme, with this hat. It's also ideal if your dog won't tolerate being dressed up as a pumpkin.

Ghoulish dog pyjamas, £10

These comfy-looking ghoulish pyjamas are the perfect Halloween outfit for a dog on the go. No antennas or hats are going to come flying off when this good boy chases his ball.
