CentralPlaza Rama II will be a wonderful weekend destination for lovers of lovely pets as it is hosting the 8th "We Love Pets" fair at its Rama 2 Hall on the 4th floor, on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
Held under the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" by Versele-laga by Pamornchai Supply in collaboration with Suanpalm Farmnok and Mahidol University's Faculty of Veterinary Science, the two-day fun will bring a variety of pets, especially birds, rabbits and cats.
The fair will be like a community where pet lovers can share their knowledge and experience with each other. Playgrounds for rabbits, birds and turtles will be provided and visitors are invited to bring along their furry darlings.
There will be several competitions including the "Biggest Bird" beauty contest open to only four species -- Lovebird, Forpus, ring-necked parakeet and budgerigar; a free flight competition with prizes from the Embassy of Belgium; a contest for rabbits with healthy teeth; a costume contest under the theme "Pirates Of The Caribbean"; and a race between a rabbit and turtle.
Other activities include a demonstration on how to raise birds without a cage, a talk show on how to keep cats and rabbits healthy, and an appearance by the super-famous cat "Nu Wan".
Also available will be free pet medical check-up services from Mahidol University; free rabies vaccination services by Jusco Ratchada Animal Hospital, and a variety of pet food, products, clothes and accessories.
