Petrol station worker shares 'dumb' things customers say that drive her mad

A petrol station worker has dished the dirt on 'dumb' customers and the predictable things they say to her on a daily basis.

TikTok star Jess shared a video with her followers on social media to explain her gripes about work, but she's not sick of the repetitive things people say to her - instead she finds it amusing.

From asking for her personal contact details to requesting discounts, Jess has heard it all - and now she's taken to TikTok to share them with her followers.

She said the phrases are incredibly common but she still manages to enjoy her day, adding that she finds it "quite entertaining."

Jess shared the video on TikTok, where she uploads as @jess_jayde04, and she captioned it: "Love my job."

She wrote: "Dumb things I hear/get asked working at a petrol station.

"'Can I have your Snapchat?' No, actually you can't.

"'Why didn't you allow more fuel to flow into my car?' I can't control how much flows out the pumps.

"'I promise that wasn't me that drove off without paying last time'. Scancams don't lie, people."

Meanwhile, a woman said she was "treated like a criminal" and given a huge fine after feeding ducks by a river.

Sylvie Ludlow, 73, said that she feeds the birds every week as she often walks down the path that runs alongside the waterway after visiting the market.

But on Thursday, February 17, she was spotted as she fed the ducks and geese by the River Darent in Dartford, Kent, and soon a fine appeared through her letterbox.

The fine said that Sylvie would have to pay £75 after she was seen to 'discard food namely bread to floor and did walk away'.
