Petrified dad notices eerie faceless figure in old video of his daughter

A dad has been left shaken up after spotting what appears to be a faceless woman in the background in a video of his daughter.

Mr Huang, from Taipei, Taiwan was looking through old pictures and videos when he came across a sweet clip of his daughter from a few years back.

During a visit to his in-laws house in Yunlin county, on the nation's west coast, on August 22, 2017, he filmed his daughter singing and dancing.

But it's only when he looked more closely that he noticed something utterly horrifying in the background behind his daughter - a figure.

Within the first second of the footage, a faceless, long-haired figure seems to be sitting at a desk.

The clip showing what he believes is a female ghost has understandably left the entire family shaken up.

Mr Huang also learned that his in-law's neighbours had buried their daughter on the same day that he had filmed the footage.

He told local media: "I’m positive that my daughter and I were the only ones in the room at the time.

"I remember my mother-in-law saying our neighbours were holding a funeral behind the house at the time. The neighbour’s young daughter had died.

"I was on the bed the whole time!"

After sharing the video online, a number of social media users have accused Mr Huang of faking the video.

But Mr Huang said: "I really wish that were true!

"What I can say for sure is that there were only the two of us in the room. Everyone else was downstairs."

According to Taiwanese media, video experts have said it is highly unlikely that Mr Huang had tampered with the video because of how shaky the filming is.

Mr Huang said: "I just wanted to share my doubts because I worry I’ve accidentally filmed the spirit of the deceased.

"All I want is for my daughter to grow up in peace."
