(Picture: PA Media)A senior nursing assistant whose body was found in a park two weeks after she disappeared was not murdered, a post-mortem examination found.
A member of the public walking through Brunswick Park in Camberwell, south east London, alerted the police after making the grim discovery at 11.40am on Sunday, December 12.
The Met Police have said her death is being treated as unexplained but initial enquiries suggest the circumstances are not suspicious.
A post-mortem found no evidence of third-party involvement, they added.
Police will continue to work with the Czech Government to provide support to her loved ones.
Ms Srncova was reported missing by a concerned colleague after failing to turn up for work – which has been described as very “out of character” for her.
The Metropolitan Police said Petra left the hospital at 7.45pm on November 28 and it is thought she took money out of a cashpoint before getting on two buses.
A man arrested in connection with her disappearance had been released from custody pending further inquiries, the Met said.
