Peterborough vs Sunderland team news: Black Cats unchanged from Doncaster win

Sunderland manager Jack Ross named an unchanged starting XI for today's vital League One clash at Peterborough.

It means he sticks with central defensive partnership of Alim Ozturk and Jimmy Dunne, with former Posh captain Jack Baldwin not even on the bench.

Aiden McGeady and Max Power shook off injury concerns to start the game, while Charlie Wyke will again play the loan striker role following his impressive performance on Friday.

It was another strong bench for the Black Cats, with Grant Leadbitter, Lynden Gooch, Will Grigg and Chris Maguire all ready and waiting for their chance.

Peterborough feature former Gateshead man Marcus Maddison, while Matt Godden came into the side up front.

Former Newcastle striker Ivan Toney dropped to the bench, along with ex-Middlesbrough man Lee Tomlin.
