Peterborough United’s Jack Taylor has been called up for Ireland's final World Cup qualifier in Luxembourg on Sunday.
And Andrew Omobamidele will travel with the squad this afternoon despite missing last night’s clash with Portugal.
Uncapped midfielder Taylor is a replacement for Jayson Molumby who pulled out of last night’s game with a hamstring injury.
Taylor is stepping up to senior ranks for the second time having been drafted in for the home Nations League clash with Bulgaria this time last year.
Norwich City centre-back Omobamidele missed last night’s encounter with an Achilles injury that he shipped against Brentford at the weekend.
But Stephen Kenny has refused to rule him out of Sunday’s revenge mission with Luxembourg.
