Peter Queally pulls off ‘Comeback of the Year’ contender in front of wild crowd at Bellator Europe 4

Peter Queally achieved a magical moment on Friday at Bellator Europe 4.

After nearly being finished with a head kick, follow-up strikes and a rear-naked choke, Queally (12-5-1 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) somehow turned the tables on Ryan Scope (11-3 MMA, 0-2 BMMA) and found a home for his strikes to finish the contest by TKO in the second round.

It was an epic turnaround that sent the crowd at 3Arena in Dublin into frenzy, and it will surely go down as a defining moment in Queally’s career (via Twitter):

After dropping his Bellator debut earlier this year in a controversial decision, Queally finally got in the win column with the promotion. He came in to the fight never having been finished, and although he came closer than ever, he wouldn’t allow himself to be put away from Scope.

With his SBG Ireland teammate Conor McGregor in the crowd, Queally will not soon forget the night of Bellator Europe 4. The win was spectacular, and his walkout was memorable, too (via Twitter):
