Munster are sweating over the fitness of Peter O'Mahony ahead of their Champions Cup clash with Toulouse next weekend after he suffered a deep cut to his leg in today's PRO14 defeat to Leinster.
"He's struggling a bit," admitted Reds boss Johann van Graan after the 16-6 defeat at the RDS.
"He's got a deep cut to his leg so we will obviously know a bit more later, but yeah, it didn't look good."
The Munster skipper had to swallow his disappointment again as the Reds were deservedly second best to their old rivals, who completed the four in a row and have won a record six games in a row in this fixture.
"Look, it was very difficult," O'Mahony said. "Physically, very attritional. We struggled to get the ball.
"We had the mid-30s per cent possession in the first-half and we didn’t have much more in the second-half, we needed to impose ourselves on the game and we struggled to do that without the ball.

“I thought Leinster put us under a huge amount of pressure with the way they play, we struggled to contain them defensively.
"Fair play, they played very well today and I thought they were the better team.
“We struggled to get our hands on the ball. The way we’ve been playing, we like to get into other team’s ’22 and when we do we’re good, but we didn’t get the access today and that’s probably a credit to Leinster."
Toulouse are at the summit of the Top 14 and will come to Thomond Park in confident mood for the last 16 tie next Saturday.
“We’ll have a long two days, it’s going to hurt," said O'Mahony. "We’ve Europe next week, we’ll take our two days and get back in Monday, Tuesday and get on with the big week ahead, no different to Leinster, and battle on.”
