Peter Lovenkrands relives greatest Rangers moment as Kris Boyd makes cameo appearance for Celtic cup final throwback

Peter Lovenkrands shared how he relived his greatest Rangers moment, as the Ibrox hero tuned in to Sunday night's Scottish Cup final replay.

The Dane scored a late winner for Alex McLeish 's side in the 2002 final, beating Celtic and ensuring the Gers sealed both domestic cup competitions.

On Sunday night BBC Scotland showed extended highlights of the match and Lovenkrands was among those tuning in.

The former winger posted a video of the goal to his Instagram followers and even got a cameo appearance from another former Ibrox star.

Kris Boyd, who scored 138 goals for the club across two spells was among those commenting - simply posting a laughing emoji.

Lovenkrands spent six seasons at Ibrox as a player, scoring 43 goals in 182 appearances before moving to Schalke 04.

He won two SPL titles, a Scottish Cup and three League Cups during his time with Rangers.

Lovenkrands returned to the club in 2017 and was appointed reserve team manager a year later.
