Peter Kay 'offered TV comeback' in Michelle Keegan's sitcom Brassic

Peter Kay has reportedly been offered the chance to make his TV comeback in Sky One sitcom Brassic.

The comedian, 46, stepped away from the limelight in 2017 and has only made rare appearances ever since.

However, he's now said to have been given the chance to make a comedy return in Brassic, which stars Michelle Keegan.

Writer and co-creator Danny Brocklehurst is believed to be keen to get Kay in for a cameo role.

According to the Daily Star, he said: "There are so many people it would be good fun to have in.

The second season of the series is set to air later this month.

Kay has stayed away from the spotlight after cancelling his stand-up tour in 2017 due to "family reasons".
