Peter Kay fans have been left 'devastated' after tickets for the star's two Liverpool M&S Bank Arena dates sold out in less than half an hour.
Fans of the comedian have taken to Twitter, claiming it was 'impossible' to snap up tickets for the highly anticipated tour. Tickets went on sale at 10am this morning, with thousands hoping to get lucky and secure tickets to a show.
But fans were let feeling 'annoyed' after trying to get tickets and failing in less than 30 minutes. One Peter Kay fan took to Twitter and said: "SO ANNOYING!! there were two Liverpool dates and it holds 11,000 a time so 22,000 tickets gone in 13 minutes to 1400 people!! rude! just but the number of tickets you need xx"

A second angry fan tweeted: "Tickets sold out in 20 mins for Liverpool people selling them online for 300+ a seat scandalous [angry emoji]." A third said: "Tickets for Liverpool sold out in under half an hour. Not surprised but disappointing that ticket resellers already marking up price to up to over £1000. It should be illegal to buy up and then sell way above face value."
Resale sites such as Viagogo is already selling tickets for up to £200 per ticket. Fans were put into a queue of thousands of hopeful fans only to be told after 20 minutes that there were no more tickets available.
A message appeared saying: "Peter Kay tickets are now SOLD OUT. We thank you for your patience." There is also a message on the M&S Bank Arena website advising fans that tickets have been sold out, and that they can join a waiting list.
Extra dates have now been added for Manchester on 17 & 18 May, 14 & 15 Jun, 26 & 27 Jul 2024, but some fans were still left feeling unhappy. One Peter Kay fan on Twitter said: "Queue for an hour for Peter Kay tickets at Liverpool, all sold out once I got through. Now queueing for Manchester in March 2024 and behind 400,000 people."
