Peter Kay Glasgow fans all saying the same thing after comic's sell out show at OVO Hydro

Comedian Peter Kay delighted a sell out crowd at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Sunday night.

The comic returned to stage at the end of last year, kicking off his tour in Manchester on December 2 after a 12 year absence. Sunday night saw the tour arrive in Glasgow, with the stand-up comedian playing the Hydro for the first time.

And the 49-year-old certainly did not disappoint. Fan were quick to take to social media to share their thoughts on the show, with most agreeing the comedian "hasn't lost his touch".

One comment read: "What a night at Glasgow Peter Kay absolutely brilliant never lost it".

A second attendee tweeted: "What a night in Glasgow. Still as funny after all those years off. Best of luck for the rest of the tour".

"Peter Kay is simply life. I just love him! I’ve got smile lines from laughing so hard! #glasgow" said another.

There were a few familiar faces in attendance, with Glasgow's Janey Godley bagging brilliant seats for the show.

The comedian posted a selfie of herself in the crowd saying "We are almost on the front row for Peter Kay" ahead of showtime.

How to get tickets to see Peter Kay in Glasgow

If you are hoping to go see the funny-man, fear not, you may still be in with a chance to get tickets for upcoming Glasgow dates.

The stand-up comedian will perform in the city on the following dates:

  • May 5 2023
  • May 6 2023
  • April 18 2025
  • April 19 2025

Tickets sold out in minutes, but there are some available via Ticketmaster resale. Tickets are likely to be added to the resale section in the run up to all the comic's scheduled shows.
