Comedian Peter Kay's show at the Utilita Arena Birmingham was evacuated mid-performance on Friday evening.
The evacuation was initiated after authorities identified a potentially "suspicious bag" at the venue.
West Midlands Police confirmed a 19-year-old man was taken into custody, and the site is currently undergoing a precautionary search.
The arena spokesperson stated that the evacuation was a precautionary measure advised by the police, with all attendees safely evacuated and the venue secured.
Ticket holders for the show, part of a tour where all profits are donated to 12 leading cancer charities, will be contacted directly regarding the incident.
