Peter Kay announces new Leeds First Direct Arena show following huge demand for comeback tour tickets

Peter Kay has announced an extra show at Leeds First Direct Arena following huge demand for his comeback tour.

The legendary comedy star, 49, is returning with his first stand up tour in 12 years. There’s been huge interest with pre-sale tickets being snapped up quickly.

Kay has previously announced Leeds First Direct Arena shows in 2023 on January 20 and May 19. He’s now added an extra show which is due to take place on September 8.

Kay said: "It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now. And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010."

Many fans will be very eager to catch Kay’s new show with it set to take place at venues across the UK. Kay’s 2010 tour still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time.

Kay’s comeback tour includes dates in Sheffield, Manchester, London Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Belfast and Nottingham as well as Leeds.

Tickets are to go on sale on Saturday, November 12 at 10am via Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
