Fantastic news for Peter Kay fans as the comedian has added an extra Glasgow date to his UK wide tour.
The comic will now play at the OVO Hyrdo for three nights, the two initial dates on May 5 and 6 next year as well as the new date on January 29.
The 12 month long tour has already began, with the star having already played shows, with dates all the way through to next December. It is the first time the comedy favourite has performed live in 12 years, with the comic reduced to tears during his opening show last Friday.
In sharing the initial news, Kay wrote: "It's good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy."
The 49-year-old announced the extra dates on Sara Cox’s BBC Radio 2 drivetime show on Thursday, December 8.
Speaking to listeners, Kay said: “First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone who’s bought tickets to my tour and I really do appreciate it.
“We’ve finally managed to book some more extra dates.”
Fans will also be able to get tickets for new dates in Newcastle and Sheffield.
