Peter Haring has handed Hearts a major boost as he signed a new three-year deal.
The Austrian will now remain at Tynecastle until at least 2022 following his arrival last summer.
Haring has emerged as one of Craig Levein 's go-to men this season, covering in defence and midfield amid an injury crisis that derailed Hearts' stunning early season form.
He too missed seven weeks of the campaign through injury but has still racked up 36 appearances.
Haring has also bagged five goals on his debut campaign in the Premiership .
Meanwhile, Hearts have loaned back-up keeper Kevin Silva to MLS side Toronto FC.
Silva, 21, was another 2018 arrival but has not yet established himself in the Jambos senior side.
He will now spend the next three months in his native US to gain first-team experience.
