Peter Crouch reacts on Twitter to what Arsenal and Liverpool supporters have done to Harry Kane

Peter Crouch has responded to Liverpool and Arsenal fans trying to ensure he makes the Tottenham Hotspur team of the decade.

It's not often that rival fans unite over one common cause.

However, this has been the case on social media as supporters of the Premier League leaders and fans of Spurs' bitter rivals have joined forces to ensure Crouch gets some recognition.

What to expect from Tottenham in the January transfer window

Although it's at the expense of Harry Kane.

The Tottenham vice-captain is one of three options to make the club's team of the decade alongside Crouch and Jermain Defoe.

Yet because the voting is on Twitter which is open to supporters of all clubs, some Liverpool and Arsenal fans have come together to ensure Crouch gets more votes than Kane.

This has prompted an unhappy response from some Lilyhwites fans on the social media platform - most of which can't understand why other supporters would want to hijack this vote.

But what does Crouch - the striker who is in line to win the vote - think of Liverpool and Arsenal supporters uniting in favour to stop Kane from making the Spurs Team of the Decade?

Well, he's been on social media to share his thoughts.

Taking to Twitter, Crouch had a simple yet funny response.

"I think it’s a close one but Harry just edges it for me," he posted.

At the time of writing, Crouch was leading the poll with 52 per cent of the vote - way out in front of Kane with 43 per cent and Defoe had just five per cent of the vote.

Therefore it would appear that Liverpool and Arsenal fans' plan has worked to perfection.

But can Kane complete a stunning comeback before the voting closes?
