Peter Crouch, Kell Brook and Chris Kamara tipped for I'm A Celeb jungle

Peter Crouch, Kell Brook and Chris Kamara are all tipped to be heading into the jungle for the next series of I'm A Celebrity.

For the past two years, the celebrities have had to make do with Gwrych Castle in Wales due to travel restrictions preventing them from hitting the jungle. The fallout from covid meant instead of the heat and jungle plantlife, the contestants had to live in the spooky surroundings of a historic castle while contending with some of the UK's own creepy crawlies.

Fans of the ITV competition will be happy to hear the new series will be going back to its roots as restrictions have lifted meaning Australia is back on the map. With the show going back to its roots it's the perfect time for ITV to bring out its biggest line-up yet.

Betting site BetVictor has put odds on football legends like pundit Chris Kamara (10/11) and former Liverpool stars Peter Crouch (9/2) and Michael Owen (6/1) to head into the Australian jungle. Other sports stars include retired boxer Kell Brook (8/13), referee Mike Dean (8/11) and former Wycombe Wanderers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa (5/1).

Thomas Skinner is also a favourite after becoming a breakout star on the 2019 series of The Apprentice. He could be joining the likes of YouTuber Saffron Barker, football manager Paul Merson, and actress and Strictly Come Dancing competitor Laila Rouass.

Richard Madeley was a part of last year's cast but his time was cut short to health issues but fans online are guessing he will be brought back this year for a fair shot as a "wild card" contestant. If he does return, he may be rubbing shoulders with radio presenters Chris Stark, Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw.

Though there is no air date set as yet, the new series will be brought forward to prevent clashing with the World Cup in November.
