Peter Crouch jokes he will change son's name after Origi scores another late goal

Divock Origi's late goal against Arsenal has given Peter Crouch more ammunition to name his son after the Liverpool striker.

Crouch and wife Abbey Clancy welcomed their fourth child in June this year and the former England striker joked he had named him Divock Samrat Crouch as a tribute to the Reds forward after he scored in both the semi-final and final of the Champions League.

The 'Samrat' is a reference to Crouch's favourite curry house.

Sadly for Crouchy, he couldn't convince his wife to go with the unusual choice and instead the couple went with 'Jack'.

However, Origi scored another late goal against Arsenal in Wednesday night's Carabao Cup tie which led to the Reds progressing on penalties.

A fan on Twitter posted a picture of other clubs reacting to all of the striker's late goals with the caption: "Divock Origi. The Hits."

Crouch saw the Tweet and responded with: "That's it I'm changing the name."

The retired striker might have trouble convincing his other half to make the name change but we think Divock Samrat Crouch has a nice ring to it.
