Peter Crouch believes Harry Kane was ruthless in Tottenham's 5-1 victory over Mura on Thursday evening.
Spurs controlled the Europa Conference League clash against the Slovenian minnows - with Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso putting the hosts into an early 2-0 lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Mura replied in the second-half with a fabulous strike, but from then on it was the Kane show.
The England captain, who has been widely criticised for his performances for Tottenham so far this season, did what he does best - find the back of the net - and did so on three separate occasions.
Kane netted a 20-minute hat-trick to wrap the game up for Spurs, who picked up a much-needed confidence booster.
Crouch emphasising Kane's ruthless streak will be something that delights Tottenham supporters, who have been desperate to see their star striker firing on all cylinders again following a summer full of speculation over a move away from the north London club.
Speaking on BT Sport, the former Tottenham striker said: "It was just perfect. He came on and I think that Arsenal game will play on his mind, but that's gone now.
"He's gone home with the match ball, all he can think about is scoring goals, he's back in the groove.
"And listen, it's poor opposition, let's be honest, but it doesn't matter who these goals are against because he's still there and he's still got to finish fantastically well and he did it. He was ruthless."
Kane will be hoping to emulate this kind of form when Tottenham welcome Aston Villa to north London on Sunday afternoon in a pivotal Premier League match.
