Peter Andre will not stand in the way of his 14-year-old daughter enter the Love Island villa when she is eventually old enough.
The singer previously said that he felt protective over Princess, who he shares with his ex-wife Katie Price.
But he has had a change of heart and is willing to let her have have a stab at the hit reality TV show.
And he’s also warming to his 16-year-old son Junior also getting involved.
Speaking to New magazine, he said that his opinion changed when he allowed his daughter to watch reality telly.
He said: “I did say I wasn’t going to let Princess watch Love Island, but now she’s 14 I decided to give in and she watched it with me.
“In a way I’m glad I did let her because she wasn’t that fussed by it. I said, ‘There you go, you don’t need to watch it again!’”
Peter then suggest he’s done quite the U-turn after banning his daughter from watching the show to allowing her to tune in – to even suggesting he would be happy for her to feature on the show.
The singer says he would have no issue watching his daughter wearing bikinis on the show and discussing her private life in front of cameras once she’s older.
He said: “I know I’ve said I don’t want them going on the show, but in reality once they get to 18 they’ll be making their own decisions.”
Peter does admit, however, he would rather see his kids follow in his own footsteps – and that of their mother, Katie – by appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Peter and Katie featured on the show themselves back in 2004 – which brought the pair together, leading to their marriage and a string of reality shows of their own all about their private lives.
Writing in his column, Peter mused: “I would actually love for the kids to do I’m A Celebrity one day as I think it would be a great experience – and if it wasn’t for the show Junior and Princess wouldn’t even be here!”
While Peter and Katie found love on I'm A Celeb, they ultimately divorced in 2009.
Peter has since found love with 33-year-old doctor Emily MacDonagh – with whom he has two more children, a seven-year-old daughter named Amelia and a four-year-old son named Theo.
Katie has enjoyed a number of other marriages since hers to Peter collapsed and is currently engaged to one time Love Island contestant Carl Woods, and has three other children; 19-year-old Harvey from a past relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, and seven-year-old son Jett and six-year-old daughter Bunny from her failed marriage to Kieran Hayler.
