Peter Andre has hinted he could be heading back into the jungle two decades after first appearing on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, became one of the most talked-about contestants when he joined the ITV reality show in 2004.
His chemistry with fellow campmate Katie Price made headlines across the country and later led to their marriage and the birth of their two children, Junior and Princess.
Andre briefly returned to the show in 2011 for a 24-hour stint during the series that featured Fatima Whitbread, but has not been back since.
In a new interview with Heat magazine, he revealed he is often asked about returning for the upcoming I’m a Celebrity All Stars.
“People ask me all the time, ‘Are you going to do it?’” Andre said. “The reason I haven’t jumped is because I’ve already been in the jungle twice.”
He went on: “I went in 2004, and then again in 2011, when Fatima Whitbread was there and they put me in for 24 hours.”
The TV personality admitted that he’s open to another stint in the jungle.
“I thought, ‘Would people really want to see me a third time? Probably not.’ But if it gets to the point where they really do, I’d never say never.”
His comments come after reports suggested producers are keen to sign his ex Price for a potential return.
According to Closer, Price is “well up for it,” though ITV has yet to confirm which stars will appear in the next All Stars series.
Andre’s comments come amid renewed tensions between Andre and Price, who claimed on her podcast that she was banned from appearing in the series.
The Insania hit-maker later issued a rare public statement firing back at his former spouse’s remarks about their children.
“For 16 years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,” he wrote on Instagram.
He said Princess and her brother Junior had lived with him since 2018 under a legally binding family court order made the following year, and insisted he had avoided going public with the arrangement out of respect for them.
Price subsequently responded with a social media post reflecting on her past struggles with addiction, mental health, and relationships.
Soon after, footage leaked by Reid, showed her waving cash and calling Andre’s younger children with wife Emily “irrelevant” in front of Princess.
A source told the Mirror that Andre was “shocked” by the video, adding: “It’s not about the money. How could a mother do that about young children?”
