Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard left guest presenter Peter Andre on the spot on the show on Thursday, with an awkward question referencing his ex-wife Katie Price .
Peter was quick to swerve the question, swiftly moving the conversation on to another topic.
It happened as Peter, Ben, Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid discussed the latest episode of Love Island.
The ITV2 dating series sees contestants pair up in a bid for love, while Ben quizzed whether the islanders were “naive” to think true love would blossom.
Peter was quick to defend the contestants though, referencing his reality TV experience when he appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2004.
He met ex-wife, and the mother of his daughter Princess and son Junior, Katie on the show with the pair finding love in the jungle.
Peter explained that at the time he had no idea what to expect, never having seen the series before, leading to Ben comparing both shows.
Mysterious Girl singer Peter said: “You're probably right but when I did I'm A Celebrity I'd never seen it before.
"I was living overseas and I'd never seen it, I just thought it was a bit of a survivor programme."
It’s then that Ben suddenly tried to get Peter to talk about Katie, discussing them finding romance on reality TV like the contestants on Love Island.
He said: “It was a little bit like Love Island in many ways, it was for you wasn't it Pete?”
As Ben began laughing, Peter gave an awkward look and resisted responding to Ben’s question.
He said: “It was yeah, but anyway, in other news…” before discussing another topic, while Ben blamed him over the comment.
