Peter Andre has delighted fans by revealing a brand new film script saying he's "so excited" to get started on the project.
The 48-year-old father-of-four has already transformed into a heavily tattooed heroin addic t for an upcoming movie - and it seems like that was just the start of a successful acting career.
In the clip of the script posted on his Instagram page, Peter can be heard chatting to British director Fredi Inwaka about the new film, which has been given a working title of Ja-Faican and features a 'suspicious character' called Billy Buckle.
"Brand new film script we're going to start later this year, I'm so excited," Peter says.
Fredi replies excitedly: "Trust me, it's about to go down."
After wowing critics in short film The Inheritance in 2019, Peter's two juicy movie projects were postponed as a result of Covid-19.
Nevertheless, the former pop star will return to Tinseltown as soon as it’s safe – and might even take Junior, 15, with him.
Pete says: “I was supposed to be out there, in Los Angeles this year. They were parts in feature films that I was sent scripts of.
“I was incredibly excited to get to work in feature films…"
He continued: “I’ll definitely go out there when we can – and I might just take Junior with me. That’s what Junior wants to do. He’s not as interested in doing music, but he’s loves acting.
“They don’t know me so well out there, which is brilliant when you want to start on a new path.”
Junior made his acting debut alongside his famous father in On The Other Foot, which is a comedy that tells the story of a racist man finding himself in the body of a black man.
The film is currently in post-production and expected to be released later in 2021.
